News :Big Brother 10: Tears and tantrums as Bea blows up over a message from home

When housemates were allowed to see messages from home, most were ecstatic, many cried and others held their heads in their hands.

But Bea was devastated by her message.

The 24-year-old recruitment consultant spent hours whingeing and crying after a friend, Tea, was sent to deliver a message instead of her mother or sister.

At first, Bea was worried about the reason her mother wouldn't come on the show! , wondering if she was ashamed.

But when the housemates poked fun at her, saying she was ungrateful and couldn't remember who her schoolfriend was, she continued to moan, get upset and threaten to quit before Friday's eviction.

The drama began when housemates were told they would each get a hologram message from home as a treat.

Sophie received a message from mum Helen and best friend Kathy. But as she went to leave the room, another hologram popped up - ex-housemate and love interest Kris.

He told her: 'I'm so proud of you babes. Keep it up, you're nailing those tasks.

'i know it's been tricky since I left. I'm missing you like crazy.'

He added: 'Remember what I wrote in the palm of your hand the night I got evicted, it's still true, 'more so now than ever', adding 'I'll be there waiting when you get out.'

She looks delighted and overwhelmed by the message.

And Bea is the only one disappointed by her message, which is from her friend Tea. Tea said that everyone is proud of Bea and that she should stay until the end of the show.

Almost an hour later, she went to the Diary Room in tears where Big Brother told her that her mother didn't want to appear on television.

The other housemates react angrily to Bea's outbursts. Charlie tells Lisa and David, 'some people are never happy'. Lisa adds, 'she shouldn't moan, she should be grateful'.

Bea later tells M! arcus and Siavash that she is worried her friend will think she is an 'ungrateful b****'.

Six hours after she has had her message, she is still trying to justify why she is upset and reels off a list of all the people she would have preferred to hear from.

She later has to tell the others to 'stop taking the p***' as Tea is a good friend.

But Rodrigo cannot stop laughing, provoking Bea even more. Charlie then jokes that no-one! should give Bea a surprise birthday present as she won't want! anythin g they give her. He adds: 'Let's all forget about Tea, Bea did.'

Bea continues to argue with Rodrigo after he attempts to apologise and tells Charlie she wants to go as she will definately be up for nomination on Friday.
